And one on the way...

Hello! Yes, for those of you that don't know there's a new Self on the way! We found out the day before Easter and I'm now about 10 1/2 weeks. We will be finding out what we're having, again, probably sometime in August. So, we'll keep you posted.
I took a pregnancy test the day before Easter and told Adam and Krista. And then on Easter we let Sarah Grace "announce" the news to the family at lunch. We made her wait till we were all together to open her Easter basket and we hid a note in one of her plastic eggs. Of course it was the last thing in the basket she opened and we had to coax her to open it because she said she couldn't hear candy inside. She finally got it open and handed the note to my uncle and asked him what it said... and he read, "I'm going to be a big sister!". Unfortunately, by that time some of the family had lost interest in the Easter basket festivities and had gone back to the kitchen. So, we had to read the note a couple of times before everyone figured out what was going on. I had my first doctor's appt a few weeks ago, and they said I'm due December 25th! But the Dr. also said I'm very likely to deliver early again, so I'm guessing it will be more like the 15th-20th. That would be fine, I just want to be home before Christmas morning. I go for my next visit to hear the heartbeat on 6/9. I've been sicker than I was with SG. I'll have a few ok days and then several really green days. Fortunately I've not gotten "sick" but it's still been rough. I have no appetite and the thought of food just makes things worse. I'm hoping since I'm getting close to the end of the 1st trimester there's an end in sight... We're all very excited, Sarah Grace most of all. She wants a brother!!!!! She will argue with you all day if you say it could be a girl. If you tell her it might be a baby sister she says, "but mom said we can only have one...", she's no dummy. ;0) So, hopefully the Lord is listening to her or else we're going to have dress another little girl in blue for a while until her older sister warms up to the idea!
